TENZ x Openair Frauenfeld 2025

de en fr

TENZ, specialist for Tibetan Momo, relied on a modular experience area at the Openair Frauenfeld from July 9 to 12, 2025. Promotion-Tools was responsible for the concept, prototyping, project management and live implementation, while Rawcut provided the visual design. The result was strong interactions, clean processes and an appearance that made the brand visible and tangible.

Idea and concept

A classic festival presence was transformed into a tangible customer journey. The space guided visitors in three clear steps from awareness to interaction and on to conversion. All modules were built, simplified and documented in advance as prototypes. This resulted in robust assembly plans, flowcharts and checklists. This reduced complexity, accelerated assembly and increased operational reliability.

Principles in the concept

The space is modular, quick to assemble and weatherproof. Instead of many small features, we rely on a few strong attractions with clear routing, visible entrances and exits and defined waiting areas. Lead capturing is simple and DSG-compliant, while the visual appearance combines urban style with Tibetan details.

On-site activations

- Freshly prepared momos with a visible show kitchen. Clear allergen labeling and fast output thanks to prepared mise en place.

- Chili challenge as a crowd puller with safe Scoville levels, moderated instructions, clear timekeeping and photo point for a souvenir picture.

- Karaoke box for fun and user-generated content. Song selection via tablet, live ticker visible from outside, consent for content use at the entrance.

- DJ booth with its own dance floor. Time slots for local DJs, coordinated volume levels, clear quiet times.

- Well thought-out visitor guidance and energy supply. Floor markings, cable bridges, dual fused circuits and a defined emergency stop.

Implementation

The entire event was prepared in a short space of time. Once the design was approved, the core elements were built in the company's own workshop. The urban set design combined modern design language with Tibetan details. The crew worked with clear roles, briefings and a shift plan. Safety, hygiene, fire protection and escape routes were coordinated with the organizer. A team of technicians took care of power, lighting, sound and the check-in tablets.

Production and logistics

Pre-production included prototyping, load tests and simplified assembly steps. Transport took place in labeled flight cases, assembly the day before with approval by the organizer. During operation, we used a clear breakdown process with replacement equipment, and dismantling took less than three hours thanks to modular case logic.

Communication and content

Moderation guidelines, give-away mechanics and the CTA competition were prepared. Rawcut produced onsite content for reels and recaps, artists received simple posting templates and rights clearances.
